PRESENTATION + DINNER
Commune: Self Builders – The Artists’ Housing Association
Join us for a potluck dinner and a presentation on artists’ housing by the architecture office Fragment and Selvbyggeren. Please bring a vegetarian or vegan dish for yourself, plus one for the table.
Since 2021, the Artists’ Housing Association has worked to better the living and working conditions of artists in Oslo. The art project Økern!, made in collaboration with artists Sigrid Espelien, Ane Hjort Guttu, Sverre Wyller and Anna Ihle, used local brick production, city walks and workshops for place development, and Fragment’s artists’ housing proposal Tårnparken visualised how artists can live in our city. Tonight Arild Eriksen will present the work with Økern! and Tårnparken, and will open a conversation between the dinner guests about future work for the Artist Housing Association.
Everyone is welcome!
