DINNER
BE MY GUEST: YU SHUK PUI BOBBY
UKS would like to welcome you to Be My Guest, the first dinner in our new format. Be My Guest has grown out of our communal kitchen, the social heart of UKS. At Be My Guest we invite artists to host a close, informal and open-hearted evening, where they can share their work over a creative home-cooked meal.
Our first host is artist Yu Shuk Pui Bobby, who is currently showing the exhibition The Piles We Carry. Through a home-cooked Chinese dinner with sharing dishes and family relationships at the centre, Bobby invites you into her strongest food memories. For this intimate dinner, you will experience the atmosphere of a family dining table, with hot rice and delicious drinks to accompany the meal.
As a joyful ending in Chinese style, Bobby invites you to karaoke – you are most welcome to sing at the top of your lungs.
