23 August 2020, 4:00pm

Please join us this upcoming Sunday, 23 August at 4pm for UKS’ #20 MINIBAR marking the finissage of Eli Maria Lundgaard’s solo exhibition A Home for Occupants with a conversation between the artist and UKS’ Director Rhea Dall.

This is the last chance to see Lundgaard’s transformation of UKS’ storefront windows into a shiny surface with eye-shaped peep holes; enter the space that she has populated with around 1000 ceramic pieces and holes carved into the walls and floor; and see her new video work A Home for Occupants, in which thoughts on the body and its inherent state of transformation and decay are paired with images of nature, snakes, and painted hands.

UKS’ MINIBAR will be serving some non-alcoholic refreshments and there will be time to ask the artist questions towards the end of the conversation.

Please note: To help prevent the spread of Covid-19, there will only be 15 seats available at the talk—please book your place by e-mailing your full name to info@uks.no. The conversation will be filmed and published online next week.

The exhibition is open from 12–5pm on Saturday and Sunday.
