Simon Daniel Tegnander Wenzel (b. 1988, Hamburg) works with performance, video, sound, sculpture and installation. His work asks how technological development, science and spiritual impulses take part in shaping our perceptions of nature, norms and identity. By entering characters and roles, he deconstructs materials, narratives and experiences to piece them together anew in an attempt to challenge personal, environmental and normative structures in western urban society.
*
The performance is spoken in English and will have an element of strong smell. Miriam Hansen’s installation Furrows (Or a stage for nightmares) is in a room with limited space for visitors. Come early to secure your spot. UKS is wheelchair accessible. Read our access note here.
