RECEPTION FOR SELECTED PROPOSALS—ART IN PUBLIC SPACES ASSOCIATED WITH OSLO KINDERGARTENS

In November 2017, the Agency for Cultural Affairs (Kulturetaten) in Oslo invited artists to submit draft proposals for artworks in public spaces and outdoor areas associated with kindergartens in Oslo. The competition was  conducted in collaboration with UKS (Unge Kunstneres Samfund / Young Artists’ Society).

In February and March, a jury selected the projects that are to be realized. On Thursday 19 April from 4pm there will be an announcement and celebration of the seven project proposals selected.

The reception will be held at UKS on St. Olavs gate 3 and is open to everyone.

The seven proposals were selected from among 100 proposals submitted to the open call. The selection committee consisted of representatives from UKS, Kulturetaten, Omsorgsbygg Oslo KF, as well as Oslo’s kindergartens.
