“Does it make sense to make an exhibition representing the Italian contemporary art in today’s globalized reality? This is the question which serves as a starting point for Caroline Corbetta’s exhibition Italianamente where she has picked seven young Italian artists working with very different themes and materials. Italianamente means ‘the Italian way’, although Corbetta wishes to focus on the Italian (artist) identity in a global perspective, rather than representing the works as demonstrational objects.”
