DEVOLUTION

Devolution is the title of Anders Smebye`s debut exhibition in Oslo. Devolution in biological terms is a backward evolution towards a more primitive form, disintegration or total annihilation. The exhibition presents ten new works exploring different forms of deconstruction, destruction, and collapse. Devolution investigates how these conditions could be the start of something new; Regression in the spirit of progression.
