#32 HOW TO PRACTICE?
BRIT FUGLEVAAG

Time: 30 November 2021, 1–2pm
Venue: Kunstnernes Hus, Wergelandsveien 17, Oslo

In conjunction with UKS’ anniversary exhibition at Kunstnernes Hus, we have re-introduced HOW TO PRACTICE?—our weekly walk-in workshop in which rotating local and international practitioners talk about their conspicuous version of this essential question.

For the 32nd edition of the series, UKS has invited BRIT FUGLEVAAG (b. 1939, NO). Fuglevaag has worked with weaving and textiles since her youth. As well as traveling, teaching, and exhibiting around the world, she has been politically active throughout her career and has held several positions in the Norwegian cultural scene, including at UKS.

This talk is spoken in Scandinavian languages or English, depending on the audience’s wishes. It is free to attend the event with a ticket to Kunstnernes Hus.
