25 June 2021, 5:00pm

Please join us next Friday 25 June from 5pm for UKS’ #22 MINIBAR marking the closing of Damla Kilickiran’s solo exhibition Among Spirits of Mineral Pitch and Other Public Apparitions.

This evening and the following weekend is the last chance to see Kilickiran’s asphalt sculptures bathed in apocalyptic orange light and listen to the artist’s audio story, set to the soft movements of an aluminum pendulum. Come have a drink with us in the MINIBAR and celebrate the final days of the exhibition before UKS closes for the summer! Also on show will be the latest edition of the mini exhibition series YOUNG DUMB & BROKE, this time featuring a sketch by Norwegian weaver Brit Fuglevaag.

At 8pm we’ll head to Billedhoggerforeningen to mark the closing of Kaare Ruud’s exhibition ALBUM / VOLUM with drinks and snacks in the garden. Join us!

The event will take place at UKS and in our backyard. Following the government’s health and safety regulations, capacity is limited and some waiting may be necessary if the venue is full.
