OSLO KULTURNATT AT UKS

This upcoming weekend the stage is set for Oslo kulturnatt (Oslo Culture Night) and Oslo Art Weekend. On this occasion, UKS presents two events revolving around the current exhibition on view—Mikael Brkic’s Fire and Forget—inviting all audiences to join us both Friday and Saturday.

On Friday, 13 September from 8pm until midnight, UKS will host our #17 MINIBAR—a returning feature in the UKS program, inviting rotating local and international agents. This Culture Night everyone is invited for a cocktail with the artist Mikael Brkic set to the mystical tunes of the “cosmo-grammatical” DJ collective Gjennom Lysmuren, playing from 9–11pm.

The collective Gjennom Lysmuren has played regularly at the bar/night club Taxi Take Away in Oslo, and on the occasion of Oslo Culture Night at UKS they will be represented by Leif Bond. UKS’ MINIBAR will be serving one of Brkic’s favorite drinks, Gin Tonic.
