30 March 2019, 7:00pm

Please join us on this upcoming Saturday, 30 March from 7pm for UKS’ #15 MINIBAR marking both the finissage of Martin Sæther‘s solo exhibition Toile and the launch of his eponymous artist book, forming the final element of his show at UKS.

Celebrating both publication and exhibition, UKS will be filled with suave live tones by the Oslo-based musician and vibraphone player David Cariano Timme. The gentle, acoustic tremolo effect of this instrument, resembling a xylophone or marimba, will ring through Sæther’s sculptural reckoning with our everyday interiors, from soft surfaces of toilet- and wallpaper to IKEA shelving. This will be followed by the sounds of DJ Calle.

Throughout the night the publication can be purchased for a special launch price of 100 NOK, sold alongside Sæther’s limited edition exhibition poster. UKS’ MINIBAR will also serve the artist’s signature drink, cooked up for this occasion, Negroni.

NB: The MINIBAR forms the after party of UKS’ Annual General Meeting, taking place at Kunstnernes Hus earlier in the day on Saturday.
