On a regular basis, UKS sends out Open Calls for part of its program and/or other functions. To stay updated, keep an eye on this page or subscribe to our newsletter by clicking here.
For part of our 2019 program, UKS is inviting both local and international artists to apply for solo exhibitions at our venue in central Oslo!
Artists are invited to submit material on the basis of their practice. All applicants are thus explicitly encouraged to describe and depict existing works and methodologies, instead of developing a specific or applied project in advance of being selected. UKS wishes for the selected artists to enter into a collaboration with the organization on the grounds of their ongoing production, aiming at molding the exhibiting institution to the artistic process and its potential material sidetracking or conceptual surprises – not vice versa.
Application deadline is 15 May 2018 at 2pm (Oslo time).
The UKS Open Call 2019 deadline has now expired.

Kulturetaten’s Open Call for art in public space and outdoor areas associated with kindergartens in Oslo is now closed.
